At Outer Beauty Permanent Makeup, we offer custom services based on your facial features and personal preference.

  • Ombré/Powder Brows

Machine shading for a sharp, filled-in makeup look. Easily customizable for softer or bolder look. Ideal for all skin types, especially those that may not be ideal for microblading. This technique is great for cover-up work (consultation required). I recommend this for clients who fill in their brows with a powder or pen daily.

  • Microblading

Hair stroke design done with a hand tool for the most natural look.. This technique is not ideal for oily skin, big pores, or mature/wrinkled skin. The strokes will blur and migrate, so nano is a better option for these skin types. I recommend this for clients who have dry skin and some hair, but are missing patches and want the most natural results.

  • Nano Brows

Do you love the microblading hair stroke design but are not a candidate due to your skin type? Nano brows are the best option for you then! We use a tattoo machine to make precise, clean hair strokes. Shading included.

  • Combo Brows/Microshading

Hair stroke design at just the front or throughout the brow with machine shading to add fullness. I recommend this for clients as a happy medium between ombré and microblading. This is also great for clients with no eyebrow hair or someone who wants to make their current brows look naturally thicker.

  • Lip Blush

Machine shading on your lips to create a natural lip blush technique. Great for uncolored or discolored lips. Typically takes 2-3 sessions to achieve desired results. Gives a soft, natural pop of color.

  • Dark Lip Neutralization

An advanced technique to neutralize cool or dark-toned lips. We do 2-3 sessions of neutralization to make the lips a consistent color. Please send pictures to consult if you are a candidate. Photo shows healed lips with no other makeup on.

  • Eyeliner Tattoo

Permanent eyeliner is perfect for those who are tired of spending time drawing eyeliner on everyday. We can do a thin lash enhancement or a full winged look. Available on top or bottom lash line in brown or black.

  • Saline Tattoo Removal

Tattoo Regrets? Li-FT Saline tattoo lightening/removal can probably help you! We can lighten healed tattoos on the brow, eyeliner, lip blush, or smaller tattoos. Please text (612) 391-7545 a picture to see if you are a candidate. We can do emergency removal within 48 hours of a fresh procedure if needed.

What does an appointment at Outer Beauty PMU look like?

Permanent makeup is our most popular service category. We offer design consultations if you are extra nervous, but it is not necessary to schedule. We ask that you fill out the consent form before your appointment to avoid delays day of.

Once you walk into our studio you will be greeted by your artist. We apply a topical lidocaine to prenumb you for 20 minutes. After the 20 minutes is up, we bring you back to our room and start the pre draw and consultation part of the appointment. We will draw out a suggested shape based on our expertise and your preferences, and work with you if you have any concerns. We will discuss styles and colors. The predraw can take anywhere from 15-45 minutes. After we have decided on a shape together, the tattoo starts. We apply more numbing throughout the appointment as needed. The actual tattoo portion can take 2-3 hours. You are welcome to bring headphones or a blanket. After we have double checked and perfected everything, we will go over aftercare and healing. We include an aftercare kit with everything you need in the cost of the service. We will also schedule a 6 week touch up at this time. At the touch up, it is the same process, but quicker since we are just perfecting and adding as needed.

  • Permanent makeup is a two-step process. Desired results can only be achieved with proper aftercare and touch up. We use the touch up to perfect the shape and color, as it is extremely common for permanent makeup to heal unevenly after the first session.

  • While we do use different topical numbing, there still may be some discomfort or pain as the numbing is starting to work. The numbing works best on open skin, so you will be more comfortable throughout the appointment.

Most clients fall asleep during brows. Eyeliner can feel ticklish against the lash line. You feel the pressure, but minimal pain. Lips are most sensitive on the outline and cupids bow area, but the shading in is bearable.

  • Permanent makeup is a tattoo technique, so it is permanent. Some refer to it as semi-permanent because the pigment fades and you have to get touch-ups, however there will likely always be some remains of the brow tattoo unless you go through removal.
