We use LiFT saline removal. Click this link to be routed to the manufacturers website which is full of information and before and afters.
Saline removal is a procedure that uses a saline solution to lift permanent makeup pigment or tattoo ink out of the skin. It can be used to lighten or fully remove bad or unwanted pigmented areas.
The Li-FT® Saline Removal Solution is a non-chemical, non-acid, high salt based, fruit seed extract saline tattoo removal solution that is so effective it can lighten a tattoo or permanent makeup procedure to the point it is no longer visible. was formulated in an FDA approved USA Lab by the team of female Chemists at Li Pigments.
While laser tattoo removal has come a long way and can be quite successful, it is not the best choice in many cases. Lasers are color sensitive and use a pulse of energy that penetrates the skin that is absorbed by the pigment. The pigment absorbs the energy, heats up and then shatters into tiny fragments to be removed by the body’s waste and lymphatic system. Saline however, lifts the pigment up and out of the body. Many people today are not comfortable with pigment being pushed down into the body and moving around the lymphatic system and choose saline removal for that reason.

You are a candidate for removal if you have previous permanent makeup done and they are either over saturated or you decide you want a smaller shape. I may suggest removal before touching up brows based on the current state of them.

It is hard to predict how many sessions each person will need because it can vary based on your skin type, what kind of pigment was used originally, how many sessions of tattoo you have had, and how deep your original artist went. It will also vary if you are wanting a new shape, or if you want them completely removed. We offer discounts on packs of 3 or 5 removal sessions. Each session has to be a minimum of 8 weeks apart.

Eyeliner can be removed, but depending on the pigment used and saturation, laser may be more effective. We only remove lip blush if it is outside of your natural lip shape. Removing the inner part of the lip is higher risk of hyperpigmentation and hypopigmentation, so color correcting is typically the better option. Please reach out over text and our artist will personally consult with you.

We provide you with a complete aftercare kit. It is critical to follow all aftercare instructions to prevent complications, scarring and to achieve optimum results. Please read carefully. I will provide you with Saline Wound Wash, Vitamin E oil, and shower shields at your first appointment. If you need more, please reach out or you can find them at Walgreens or other pharmacy stores.
1. KEEP AREA CLEAN and open to the air. Do not cover with a Band-Aid or anything else, leave open to air. Air/oxygen provides good and faster healing. CLEANSE THE AREA with the Provided Saline Wound Wash. Apply the Saline Wound Wash to a damp clean, lint free cleansing pad and blot the area 3-4 x daily until all scabs fall off.
2. DO NOT SOAK the treated area in water. I will send you home with shower shields to protect them while you wash your hair. You can shower as normal but keep the area out of the shower spray the best you can and do not let the area stay wet for more than a few minutes. It is best to keep it dry but if you do get it wet gently pat dry.
3. NO BATHING, SWIMMING, SAUNAS, HOT TOBS, TANNING, OR EXERCISE WHERE YOU SWEAT. NO EXCEPTIONS.
4. DO NOT disrupt the scabbing process (i.e., no picking, scratching, etc.) All scabbing needs to fall off naturally. If you force or pick a scab off you will disrupt the process and possibly cause scarring. It is critical to keep the scabs on as long as possible to achieve optimum results.
5. TREAT AREA WITH TLC. DO NOT DO ANYTHING AT ALL THAT COULD CAUSE ISSUES OR PROBLEMS TO THE TREATED AREA.
6. ONCE ALL SCABBING HAS NATURALLY FALLEN OFF, apply one drop of Vitamin E Oil 3 to 4 times throughout the day for a minimum of 4 weeks, or until next lightening session. DO NOT start applying the Vitamin E Oil UNTIL all scabbing has naturally and completely fallen off. It is our goal to keep the area as dry as possible until all scabs have naturally fallen off.
7. LIPS please drink all liquids with a straw until all scabbing has naturally fallen off. Brush with Toms of Maine or Classic Crest (no whitening, no peroxide toothpastes. Cut food into small bites….no biting into a sandwich. Try to keep mouth expressions to a minimum.
❖ It is important to the process and integrity of the skin that 8 full weeks of healing take place before another lightening session can be done. No exceptions
❖ Lightening unwanted pigment can be a long process and patience is required. This is true whether you are choosing a saline lightening product or laser. Please be patient and give the process a fair chance to work. Expect visible and wanted results in 2 to 5 sessions. How many sessions needed will depend on how saturated the pigment is, how deep it was implanted, the location, the skin type and how much needs to be lightened for the desired result. In many cases only a percentage of the pigment needs to be lightened and then we can continue the correction process by color correcting or color shifting. In those cases where we have pigment misplaced or in an unwanted area, color correcting will not be an option and lightening as much of the pigment as possible will be our ultimate goal.
❖ Results cannot be foreseen, predicted or guaranteed.
❖ If you have any questions or concerns please text us. If at any time you have any green or yellow puss in the area of the lightening procedure, or any concerns at all during the healing process please call us immediately.
